As a result of serious health issues I found it necessary to move from my single family house to a condo rental unit that I owned. McGrath Real Estate Services served my needs by coordination and oversight of needed repair and preparation work needed to make the house rent-able. They then did all of the work necessary to find and move-in very good tenants.
Over the past six years they have continued to keep the house occupied with good tenants. This included annual in-home physical inspections, contacting me for decisions on routine maintenance work as needed and then arranging for local contractors to make those repairs. They provide monthly accounting reports, receipt and disbursement of rent payments and annual accounting reports for tax purposes. The services they provide are well worth their management fees.
We purchased our 1st investment property this year. We contacted 3 different Real Estate management services to get “bids” and information on the fees and services offered for those fees. McGrath was the only one of the three that would supply us with answers to every question we asked, without having to meet them in person. That saved much time and instilled a trust factor we didn’t get from the others. McGrath even told us things that we hadn’t thought of and being 1st time investors there were things that should have been obvious but were not. McGrath is a professional company. From the contract signing to the recommendations of tenants or NOT recommending of a tenant we could not be more pleased with McGrath. The main reason is that… This company is 100% team oriented. From the listing agent meeting us at our property and going over the strategy for placing the property on the market for the highest value to be able to rent it in a timely basis. We never felt rushed, all decisions we made were agreed to by both us and McGrath before proceeding, our unit was rented in 4 weeks from date of publishing.
Prior the renting we met at McGrath Real Estate office to review and sign the contract. Being Type A personality we went thru every paragraph of the contract so that there were no misunderstandings. We were introduced to the sales team that would be handling the renting of our unit. and the background checks. Top notch salespeople 100 % professional, courteous and to the point. We were introduced to the financial part of the team that would be processing our payments and receivable’s. They are responsible for notifying of us of any incidental cost-repairs that would have to be done. We have had repairs done to the unit. McGrath handled the contractors from pricing to scheduling the work. We were never inconvenienced with any issue. Taken care of and no call backs has given us peace of mind.
Then we met the Client Advocate team. They are on the front lines and we have relied on them, especially Gregg Waters. His presence and can do attitude has paid dividends. All the issues that have come up with our tenants, no matter how large or small, Gregg has responded immediately and solved the issue(s). He has been invaluable to us. I can’t say anything negative of McGrath Real Estate company because there has not been a negative situation from them. I would recommend them to anyone that is serious about having a property managed, with the peace of mind that they will protect your investment as if it was their own. This is how my wife and I feel about McGrath Real Estate.
